For students / parents:

You have the right to withdraw from any slots by sending us an email on [email protected] within 14 days of sending us an online or manual application form, without giving any reason whatsoever. Text messages, Facebook messages or simple phone calls will not be considered as withdrawals. After the period of 14 days expires no withdrawal will be possible and the following terms and conditions below will apply. Moreover if you have selected to start activities before the 14 day period, you are hereby acknowledging that you will lose your right of withdrawal for those activities which would have already been given within this period. If no withdrawal is made within the 14 day period, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation or moving of the booked slots has to be made at least 120 hours before the date of such lesson or lessons by sending an email on [email protected]. Such slot will be moved to a mutually convenient date and time, within that same week or else, the week after. If however one is unexpectedly sick before a slot, a scanned medical certificate to [email protected] is required in order to move such lesson to another date or time. Text messages, Facebook messages or simple phone calls will not be considered as cancellations. Without the above procedure any unattended homework club slots shall still be invoiced and be due or if already paid shall not be refunded. Note that extra slots requested by a student outside the normal set of slots, cannot be cancelled.

If one intends terminating the full slots, for whatever reason, one is to notify us 3 weeks in advance by sending us an email on [email protected]. Text messages, Facebook messages or simple phone calls will not be considered as termination requests. One is moreover bound to pay for any lessons within those three weeks from notification of termination, whether one attends for such homework club slots or not.

Slots or courses booked by schools are to adhere with a two week notification period of any slot which needs to be moved. Should the science explainer be sick on the day of the course, the school will be notified by 8a.m. Payment is to be carried out in full, prior to the sessions provided and refund is only given, in case of any session not being provided. No copying of the material or class format is to be replicated by any tutor present in the session.

Any refund requested, will be bound to a 10% surcharge retained by SED Hub, covering administrative costs linked to initial registration and payment.
